How are the nets at your local tennis courts?
Finding a local court has been made easier by using Tennis Leagues Network Tennis Court Utility.
Here are some of the 34 city webpages we have available to the tennis communities: Portland Tennis Courts, Tampa Tennis Courts & San Antonio Tennis Courts.
The list of courts keeps the players knowledgeable on # of tennis courts, # of lighted tennis courts, if the courts are indoor tennis courts or clay courts, if theres a hitting wall for the players to practice on, cost to use the tennis courts, address with map, # of tennis matches players has played at the location in our program, if the courts are restricted to tennis club members only, playing region where these courts are located and league admin remarks if we know something particular about the location. The map link makes it very easy to enter a starting address and get the best directions to the tennis courts.
In 2009, we improved the Rate this court! to allow players to submit tennis court ratings. This has worked well as it rapidly give new tennis players the data needed to know which locations have the best courts. The players are able to evaulate the court lights, tennis courts surface, when the courts are available, tennis club management of the facility and an overall rating. Players are also able to report some notes.
The tennis courts maps have really helped the location to find safe local courts from where they live.
