On top of making the Forbes 400 Richest in America list in 2000, this maverick businessman has been honored with an assortment of prestigious awards, foremost the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the WSA Industry Achievement Award, and the Albert Einstein Technology Medal, to cite but a small selection.
